I’ve seen the documents Andy was handed at that time. They’re printed-out e-mails sent to an e-mail address that was blacked out. Lady One had apparently reached out to this person via Give, and judging by the language they had been talking for quite some time.
She said that she “wanted to see us before we made the grand journey to Washington,” and requested who I assume was the sack mask kid to hand us this note. She wanted to see us in two days.
I had never interviewed Lady One, and none of the kids had ever seen her in real life. But they were all really excited. Andy barely had to broach the subject. They were all really excited to go.
We loaded up the car with full packs this time. We hadn’t expected to go to Portland, and we didn’t expect to go to Seattle. So we loaded the car with loaded packs, not knowing what to expect.
